Inspired by The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, our Year 1 students have been exploring the power of creativity, courage, and self-expression.

After reading this much-loved story, which reminds us that even the smallest mark can lead to something wonderful, the children set out to create their own unique versions of “the dot.” With a focus on embracing a growth mindset, they experimented with colour mixing, imaginative designs, and personal flair — transforming simple circles into vibrant works of art.

Each dot tells its own story, celebrating the idea that everyone is an artist when they believe in themselves. We’re so proud of our young creators for showing that every masterpiece begins with just one brave mark!
