Our Year 10 and 11 IGCSE Geography students headed to Gredos on Thursday for a fieldwork trip studying rivers. With beautiful sunshine overhead (and very chilly water below!), students braved the cold to measure river velocity and depth, and to analyse the sediment and stones on the riverbed. After a morning of fantastic field research, everyone enjoyed a well-earned packed lunch and a chance to warm up in the sun.

Well done to all the students for their enthusiasm and excellent work!
