We are Elena and Alba from year 7 and we are going to explain the system of discipline in SENIORS .

In seniors, discipline changes a lot compared to juniors and infants. There is a completely different system for this. We are going to explain all the steps.

VERBAL WARNING

A verbal warning is the chance to correct your behaviour without consequences. The teacher might write their name on the board as a reminder.

Example: If a student is talking while the teacher is explaining it would be a Verbal Warning.

LOW LEVEL DISTRUPTION (LLD)

An LLD goes into SIMS, and it is a negative point for your behaviour. The teacher might write their name on the board with a tick or with the word LLD.

Example: If a student ignores the teacher on his first warning it would be an LLD.

If a student is 2-5 minutes late to class, this would be an LLD.

2nd LOW LEVEL DISRUPTION (2ND LLD)

An 2nd LLD, is ANOTHER negative point in SIMS. When a student has a 2nd LLD it means the student has the sum of both LLD´s. (LLD + 2nd LLD = 2 LLD´s.) The teacher might write their name on the board next to “LLD 2”

Example: If a student misbehaves again, once they already have an LLD they would have 2 LLD´s.

WARNING

A warning is three negative points in SIMS. A warning means the student must stay to explain their behaviour to their teacher during their patio time. The teacher might write their name on the board next to the word “WARNING”.

Example: If a student doesn’t stop after the 2nd LLD, they will get a WARNING.

If a student arrives from 5-10 minutes late to a class, this would be a WARNING.

RREFLECTION

If a student gets a Reflection, it means they must go to the Reflection room and stay there for their patio. They must write what they did wrong and how to improve. Then they must say sorry for what they did, to the teacher that put them the reflection.

If you get a Reflection your explorer tutor will tell you in explorers.

Example: A student will get a Reflection when they already have a Warning, but they keep misbehaving .

If you are more than 10min late to class, you will get a Reflection.
