PRIMARY (Juniors 6-11 years old)

A journey of growth that sparks curiosity

In Primary, pupils embark on a holistic learning journey where independence and curiosity are the starting point. The Juniors programme seamlessly integrates the British curriculum with dynamic subjects, creating an environment where learning feels purposeful and connected.

Learning goes beyond individual subjects: music, art, science and history are interwoven into a rich and interconnected experience, delivered mainly in English. In this way, pupils not only expand their knowledge but also ignite creativity and develop thoughtful, reflective thinking.

Teamwork is an essential part of daily life. Through collaborative learning environments and the close guidance of class tutors, pupils develop critical thinking, social skills and self-confidence within an inclusive setting where everyone feels supported.

Inspired by the Montessori philosophy, we foster autonomy, self-esteem and respect for others, helping to shape responsible, independent and socially engaged learners.

What does this stage provide? Curious, independent and confident children who learn to think, collaborate and enjoy learning.

SECONDARY (Seniors 11-16 years old)

A strong academic foundation with a global outlook

Secondary is a key stage of transformation. In Seniors, learning blends the British and Spanish curricula to provide a strong academic foundation alongside global preparedness.

Beyond academic content, we cultivate critical thinkers and effective communicators. Students explore their creativity, strengthen their adaptability and develop an open, global mindset.

The academic journey culminates in the prestigious IGCSE examinations, within a curriculum that balances rigour and inspiration. This is complemented by the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), offering students the opportunity to conduct in-depth research, develop advanced academic skills and prepare for university success.

English becomes a real tool for communication: students don’t just study the language, they use it to analyse, create and express ideas with clarity in an international context.

Beyond the classroom, development is also physical, creative and cultural through sport, art, music and immersion programmes that broaden their perspective of the world.

What does this stage provide? Academically and personally prepared young people with critical thinking, independence and an international outlook.

Cultivating Excellence

Seniors at TEMS forge paths to academic success and global insight.

Embracing the Montessori philosophy

Since Juniors, emphasis is placed on developing essential life skills such as autonomy, independence, self-confidence, self-esteem, and respect for others. Our goal is to shape well-rounded individuals who approach learning with enthusiasm and a sense of purpose.

Dynamic social and cognitive development

Teamwork isn't just encouraged; it's integral to the learning process. Led by our dedicated class tutors, your child will actively engage in collaborative learning settings that extend beyond individual subjects. Through this approach, critical thinking is nurtured, and tailored materials address the unique needs of non-English speakers. This commitment to inclusivity creates a stimulating environment where every student feels supported and inspired.

Inspiring academic excellence

In Seniors at TEMS, academic excellence merges with inspiration, culminating in the prestigious IGCSE exams.

Our dynamic curriculum, blending the British National Curriculum with the Spanish Ministry of Education's requirements, ensures a rich, diverse learning experience.

From critical thinking in science to creative expression in art, our Seniors embark on a journey of discovery, unlocking their potential to become lifelong learners.

Empowering global perspectives

Seniors don't just study English; they become storytellers, critical thinkers, and effective communicators.

Through literature exploration, multimedia projects, and language immersion, students gain the tools to navigate the global stage.

We cultivate an environment where students learn not just for today but to shape the conversations of tomorrow, fostering a deep appreciation for diverse perspectives.

Beyond the classroom

Physical, creative, and cultural growth.

Our commitment to holistic education extends beyond the classroom.

We embrace physical fitness through diverse sports, explore their creative side in art and music, and broaden their cultural horizons through language immersion programmes.

This is not just education; it's a journey of self-discovery and personal growth that prepares our students for a future where adaptability and creativity are paramount.
