The summer holidays officially began on Wednesday as students enjoyed their final day of term before a well-deserved break.

The school remained full of energy right up until the last bell, with students saying goodbye to friends and teachers, clearing out lockers, helping to tidy classrooms, and taking part in quizzes and a variety of end-of-year activities. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on another successful year and celebrate everything that had been achieved together.

One of the highlights of the day was Splash Day at Discovery House, where the local firefighters paid a special visit, bringing plenty of excitement with them. Children laughed and played as they were sprayed with water and covered in foam, creating unforgettable memories while keeping cool in the summer sunshine. For those who preferred to stay dry, there was still plenty to enjoy, including the chance to climb aboard a real fire engine and learn more about the important work our firefighters do for the community.

It was the perfect way to bring another fantastic school year to a close. We wish all our students and families a happy, safe and relaxing summer holiday, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for another exciting year.
