World Book Day Brings Reading to Life Across the School
World Book Day brought wonderful energy across the whole school, with students and staff coming together to celebrate a shared love of reading in a fun and memorable way. From start to finish, there was a real sense of excitement, and the fantastic costumes added colour, creativity and plenty of smiles throughout the day.
A particular highlight was the student-led book swap, which perfectly reflected the spirit of our school community. Students organised, supervised and supported one another as they selected new books to enjoy, demonstrating independence, responsibility and collaboration. It was exactly the kind of community-driven initiative we love to see at TEMS.
Events like World Book Day do far more than celebrate books. They help to build confidence, spark new interests and strengthen a sense of belonging across the school. By sharing stories and discovering new authors, students are encouraged to develop a lifelong love of reading.
Thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the day such a memorable success.
