Admissions Process
Welcome to the TEMS general admissions page.
The admissions process in our English School of Madrid is simple and outlined in brief below. Children are welcome to join us at any time during the school year and into any year group, subject to a place being available.
You will be guided every step of the way by our experienced and personable Admissions Officer. We are here to help you through the admissions process – from your initial enquiry up to the enrolment of your child in our school.

Contact TEMS
Contact the Admissions Office (via enquiries form, email or telephone) for an initial conversation about your child and to check availability in the relevant year group.
Arrange a Visit
Arrange a visit to school for a personal guided tour by our Admissions Officer or attend one of our Open Days. Meet our staff, see the school in session and experience the atmosphere.
Complete Application Form
Complete the Application Form and submit your child’s school reports from the last two years (where applicable).
Interview and Assessment
For pupils who would be entering Year 1 to Year 13, we will arrange a meeting to assess their level of English and abilities then provide you with feedback on acceptance and procedures to follow.
For pupils entering Nursery or Reception, please proceed to Step 5.
Place offered
If successful and subject to availability, we will make a formal offer of a place for your child to join us.
If there are no spaces in the year group you require, if you wish, we can add your child’s name to our waiting list and will contact you when a place becomes available.
Complete Admissions Documents
If you accept the offer, you will then be requested to complete the TEMS Admissions Documents, submit all the admission documentation and pay the matriculation fee in order to secure your child’s admission.
