FORBES lists TEMS among The Best 50 Schools in Spain

Forbes magazine has listed TEMS as the 6th best school in Spain.

Based on 36 criteria, our international British school has been selected for our Montessori Philosophy, international mindset, personalised support and culture of wellbeing.

The 36 criteria

This exclusive list has been created by a committee of expert educators, psychologists and education professionals selected by this respected magazine, who have evaluated over 300 schools based on 36 criteria. The score has taken into account factors such as student support, academic results, educational offer, cocurricular activities, facilities, student’s safety and wellbeing, among others.

“TEMS’ teaching method is based on the Montessori philosophy, which seeks to constructively promote the potential of each student, prepare them for the challenges of an increasingly complex and demanding society, and ferment an awareness of international cooperation to inspire peace and harmony. To do this, teaching focuses on various aspects of people: intellectual, social, emotional, physical, ethical and moral. Education is personalized and dynamic, taught in large classrooms, and teachers have support assistants to meet all students’ needs.

From the earliest ages the British curriculum is taught, although it is mixed with subjects in Spanish such as Language and Social Sciences.

A wide range of after-school activities are offered such as football clubs, etc.”.

Likewise, The English Montessori School has been listed among the 20 best international schools in Spain and as one of the 100 best schools according to EL ESPAÑOL newspaper.
